You painted this a while ago. Too bad I didn't see it sooner. I really like the hair as well as the "rosiness" on the cheeks and what not. Excellent job. The little bridge in the background makes a big (good) difference, I think.

*POUNCES on Toasty and grins* Yoooohooo~; Remember moi? XD

Omg, you are still wonderful with your techniques. *gurgle, gurgle, envy gurgling* XDD. I've always wanted to try Painter -.-;

Anyhoo~ Onto the art! X3. Tis beautiful. I admire it, especially the little pink blots here and there in the skin. The only thing that doesn't tickle my fancy ( don't mind me, I'm weird >_>;; ) is the placement the lips are at. Should be tilted slightly to the oh, hmm, right a bit. ANYWAY. Glorious I tell ya. Buh. I want the geisha mask as my face ;-;

*huggles n'all that jazz, then skitters off*

Breathtakingly beautiful. The coloring is stunning, the highlights really bring it out. Lovely job on the hair and expression, and the lips look very nice indeed.

Beautiful..........:butterflytwo: (Butterfly)

One tiny thing, I love the line of highlight dots running from mask to cheek but the one on her nose makes it (the nose) look a touch too round/bulbous. Could be the placement or the sharpness, not sure, maybe if you softened it as you have for her cheek?
Aside from that very minor nitpick, this is exquisite work. Especially like the saturation of the mask's features in relation to the girl/surroundings.

I love this piece so much, I don't know where to begin ^_^;;; but I really do love how you contrasted the beautiful mask to the more homely face of the girl. It really does look like oil paints. The more subdued colour scheme is wonderful.
The beautiful sweeping lines are

awesome work... I like how you've used the mask to display fake emotion, then lined it up with her eye... creates a good dichotomy. very nice Thumbs Up

That's really gorgeous, Toasty. it reminds me of an oil painting with the richness of colours, textures and brush strokes. The composition is lovely, as well as her expression. great job

great style you have here, i love the shiny little bits and pieces of brush strokes here and there -- you definitely managed to capture lots of emotion in that smirk of yours and your use of color adds to the dark mood.
